Getting rid of junk in Perdido Beach
County pickup covers Perdido Beach
Perdido Beach is one of the towns SWDA names for its bulky pickup, even though it's incorporated. Baldwin County's Solid Waste Disposal Authority (SWDA) runs the curbside bulky pickup here: one free pickup a month, set at the edge of the right of way. SWDA bills extra loads by the truckload (county fees, not ours). Call SWDA at 251-972-6878 or request it online.
What the county crew won't do
Items go at the edge of the right of way, four feet from mailboxes, fences and trees, and never under power lines. Nothing behind fences or in ditches. If it's still in the house or under the carport, we carry it out.
Bayfront and creek lots
Plenty of homes here sit on the bay or along Soldier and Palmetto creeks. Storm season leftovers like an old dock box, patio furniture or a waterlogged couch are the kind of load we take.
