Getting rid of junk in Elberta
Trash service inside town limits
The town lists Republic as the trash service for every home inside Elberta's corporate limits. Regular carts don't take couches, mattresses or a garage full of boxes, so that's where we come in.
The landfill in Elberta takes debris, not household junk
SWDA's Eastfork Landfill on Eastfork Landfill Road is a construction and demolition landfill. It takes yard debris, rubbish and construction debris, but not household garbage, paint, oil or batteries, and nothing that originates outside Baldwin County.
Outside town limits
Homes in the county around Elberta fall under SWDA instead of the town. Baldwin County's Solid Waste Disposal Authority (SWDA) runs the curbside bulky pickup here: one free pickup a month, set at the edge of the right of way. SWDA bills extra loads by the truckload (county fees, not ours). Call SWDA at 251-972-6878 or request it online.

Elberta questions
Do you pick up in Elberta outside the town limits?
Yes. Text your address or ZIP code with the photos and we'll confirm.
Can I haul it to the Eastfork Landfill myself?
For yard debris and construction scraps, yes, during its posted hours. Household items like a mattress or a couch belong at the Magnolia Landfill in Summerdale instead, or text us and we'll take it.
How much does junk hauling cost?
It depends on how much there is and what it is. Text photos to (850) 273-8546 and we'll text back a price for your load. The quote is free, and the price is confirmed with you before anything is loaded.
What don't you haul?
Concrete, roofing, dirt and whole-house cleanouts. If you're not sure about an item, text a photo and we'll tell you.
Will you take just one item?
Yes. One couch or one mattress is a normal job for us.
