Check with the city first

- Household hazardous waste events move between partner cities and dates can change, so check the city's HHW Special Collection Days page before you go.
- Broward County Landfill rates took effect January 1, 2026 and the landfill does not take household garbage, so confirm fees and accepted loads by phone first.
- After storms the city usually announces separate debris collection rules, so check city notices before setting out storm debris.
