Who picks up trash in Naples
- The City of Naples Solid Waste Division collects garbage, recycling, yard waste and bulk waste for homes and businesses in the city.[1]
- Yard waste is collected once a week by the city's own Solid Waste Division crews.[1]
- Call the Solid Waste Division at 239-213-4700 for special pickups, missed collections, billing or general questions.[1]
- The division's office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.[1]
- The division lists addresses at 2600 Corporate Flight Dr. and 735 8th Street South.[1]
- Businesses are served with carts, dumpsters or compactors, and roll off containers are available for large cleanups by calling 239-213-4700.[1]
Bulk trash pickup in Naples
- City bulk collection covers furniture, appliances and Type III construction and demolition debris.[1]
- Bulk waste is picked up only on dates the city schedules, so call 239-213-4700 to arrange it.[1]
- Book your bulk appointment at least 48 hours before the date you want.[1]
- Do not put bulk items at the curb more than 24 hours before your scheduled date, and have them out by 7:00 a.m. that day.[1]
- Commercial special or extra pickups cost $50 per collection.[1]
- The city does not collect yard debris cut by landscaping or tree contractors; contractors must haul it away.[1]
- Electronics such as TVs, phones and computers are not collected at the curb.[1]
Naples trash pickup schedule
- Pickup days vary by address, so use the city's Find My Collection Day tool.[1]
- Household trash is collected twice a week; set it out by 7:00 a.m. and bring the container in by 7:00 p.m.[1]
- Trash containers must be plastic with a tight fitting solid lid and hold no more than 30 gallons.[1]
- Side door trash collection is available on request.[1]
- Recycling is collected once a week in a city issued blue 65 or 95 gallon cart placed with the lid facing the road.[1]
- Curbside recycling takes glass bottles and jars, metal cans, plastics #1 through 7, newspaper, flattened cardboard and office paper.[1]
- Plastic bags, Styrofoam, window or mirror glass and cookware are not accepted in recycling carts.[1]
- Yard waste goes within 6 feet of the curb by 7:00 a.m. in paper yard waste bags or open cans, never plastic bags.[1]
- Collection runs on holidays except New Year's Day, July 4th, Thanksgiving and Christmas.[1]
- If your day falls on one of those four holidays, your waste is picked up the following day.[1]

Landfill
Collier County Landfill
Run by: The landfill is owned by Collier County, which runs it through its Solid and Hazardous Waste Management Division.[3]

Hours: It is open Monday through Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with hand unloading until 4:15 p.m.[2]
Fees
- Bulky items such as household furniture are $99.15 per ton under rates effective October 1, 2026 to September 30, 2027.[2]
- Construction and demolition debris is $96.55 per ton.[2]
- Residential yard waste is $57.50 per ton and residential appliances or metal goods are $82.30 per ton.[2]
- Residential tires are $5.00 each for 15 inch or smaller and $10.00 each for 16 to 18 inch, up to 5 per visit.[2]
Rules
- Mixed loads of yard waste or C&D debris with other waste are not accepted.[2]
- Cash and major credit cards are accepted.[2]
- The landfill and transfer station are closed July 4th, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.[2]
- Asbestos and contaminated soil need an approved special waste profile and 24 hours notice before delivery.[2]

Run by: The Immokalee Transfer Station is a Collier County solid waste facility.[2]
Address: It is at 700 Stockade Rd. in Immokalee, a long drive from Naples.[2]
Hours: It is open Monday through Saturday, 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.[2]

Naples Recycling Drop-Off Center
Run by: Collier County's Solid and Hazardous Waste Management Division runs the recycling drop-off centers.[2]

- Residents can bring yard waste, household bulk or C&D materials for $15.00 per cubic yard, with a 1 cubic yard maximum, at every drop-off center except North Collier.[2]
- Residents get up to 3 TVs per visit free and pay $10.00 for each TV over 3.[2]
- Paint and stain drop-off is free for residents up to 200 pounds per day.[2]
Accepted
- Residents can drop off batteries, light bulbs, cardboard, scrap metal and appliances, and electronics at no charge.[2]
- Tires are only accepted at the Collier County Landfill and the Immokalee Transfer Station.[2]

- North Collier does not take the paid yard waste, household bulk and C&D loads that other drop-off centers accept.[2]
Hazardous waste disposal in Naples
- The city's guide says the Solid Waste Operations Center does not collect hazardous waste and sends residents to county recycling centers.[4]
- Collier County drop-off centers take household hazardous waste such as pesticides, pool and cleaning chemicals and mercury devices at no charge for residents.[2]
- Used cooking oil and oil filters are free for residents.[2]
- Paints and stains are free up to 200 pounds per day, then $1.00 per pound.[2]
- Electronics other than TVs are free for residents.[2]
- Sharps must be in an approved plastic container.[2]
- Drop-off centers accept all types of batteries, which should never go in garbage or recycling carts.[2]
- Pressurized tanks such as propane and oxygen tanks are free for residents.[2]
- Businesses that are very small quantity generators may use the Hazardous Materials Collection Center at the landfill by calling 239-252-8480.[2]

Check with the city first
- The City of Naples page and Collier County list different open days for the Naples drop-off center on Corporate Flight Dr., so call before you go.
- Collier County resets landfill and drop-off rates every October 1, and the City of Naples did not post its current bulk pickup fee on its page, so ask when you book.
